Volunteers for Communication - Japan Focus Group

The Research Cooperative invites all members to join our Volunteers for Communication, a new initiative to encourage volunteer community-building activities by our members. Our starting point (May 2009) is the present Japan Focus Group.

In Japan, we will give priority to supporting website development by Japan-based NPOs, NGOs, community groups, and tertiary-level student organisations, and especially those that wish to present information in two or more languages. Usually, these will be Japanese and English, and the work may involve translation in either direction, and editing of either Japanese or English.

Volunteer help with English and Japanese, and other language combinations, can only be offered by this group if members with suitable skills and interests are available. Requests and suggestions for help can be posted on this page by Research Co-op members, on behalf of organisations that might be interested in receiving help. Please use the message board below.
