About the journal

Ethnobotany Research and Applications is an electronic, peer-reviewed, multi-disciplinary journal devoted to the rapid dissemination of current research. Manuscript submission, peer review, and publication are all handled on the Internet. Multiple languages are supported.

Journal authors come from a wide range of disciplines: ethnobotany, economic botany, ethnobiology, plant ecology, human ecology, anthropology, archaeology, development studies, conservation, cultural heritage, human or animal nutrition, and more. I'd like to send a question to Dr. Devarajan Thangadurai.
I was so happy when I found him on this page, in this group, since I wasn't able to reach him for almost a year. As well as some of my colleagues. We are very interested in his recent work and on-going projects.
So, here is the question I'd like to ask him, and for which (I REALLY hoppe) I would have an answer:
Would he be so kind to tell me what is going on with two articles my colleagues and I sent to You long time ago (July 2007) entitled:

1)Bioactivity assays on Carlina acaulis and C. acanthifolia root and herb
extracts (by Đorđević S, Petrović S, Dobrić S, Tadić V, Milenković M,
Kukić J, Hadžifejzović N, Nahrstedt A),

and

2)Pharmacological characterization of an aqueous extract of Cirsium
ligulare Boiss. (Asteraceae) herb (by Dobrić S, Petrovic S, Kukic J)

They should have been published last year as a chapter in a book Dr. Thangadurai was an editor.
Is there any progress? We don't have any news from you so long and we are worried about it.
If there is any problem, please contact my colleagues or myself. I understood that there were no problems with payments, so...?

I have posted an offer of help already in the "other help offered" category. Just wanted to re-state here that I am eager to get involved in any project in Ethnobotany R&A that's within my area of expertise. (digital images and data-driven websites and applications, data analysis/reporting). It would be very satistisfying and great fun to make even a small contribution to the field.
