Greetings,

I perused your website and it looks quite interesting. Do you look at fiction work as well? Regardless, I'd like to bookmark it for future reference.

Peace,

Gary

Dear Jane,

Between field work in Taiwan and making waffles for today's Sunday breakfast, I managed to respond to your comment on terminology at the Research Cooperative.

We now have 'colleagues'.

Thanks, P.

I just found it. It's called the Valley of Fire (an even cooler name, I think): http://parks.nv.gov/vf.htm. I want to try and do one more--short--trip this summer, before I head back to Boston in early August. I was thinking about Pyramid Lake, but I'd really love to go somewhere with visible evidence of humans long past living on and with the desert.

Hi Jane,

It's actually in Nevada outside of Las Vegas - if you can believe it. It's called Fire Mountain (I think). It's part of a park that is similar to the ones in New Mexico - the have some Pueblo writings on the hills/mountains.
